Landscape architect Juan Grimm has been working tirelessly on Patagonia Virgin.
Infrastructure and Town HousesDevelopment projects have begun and on April 21st we inaugurated the first stage of our main urban thoroughfare, Avenida Patagoniawhich will extend for 3.3 km, connecting the two project entrances and going through the Town House zone, golf course, lots and driving range. The first three streets, Magallanes, Sebastián Elcano and Bahía, will connect the entrance with the plots of land that will be used for the first Town House style buildings and with the lake entrance of the hotel. Some of these infrastructure developments can be seen in the photos in this section, which we will update as time goes on. Furthermore, the superintendent's office and the main and secondary roads are being fitted with their respective drinking water installations, sewer systems and underground electrification, as well as sidewalks and bike paths, all simultaneous with the construction of the Town Houses first stage on the Sebastián Elcano plot.
GolfThe first sites are being prepared for presale around the golf course and driving range. We are also forming the Patagonia Virgin Golf S.A.society, which will allow members who are not residence owners to have exclusive access to this world-class golf course. We have identified a strong interest among potential members in the region.
HotelWe are working on the final stretch of the first hotel on the lakefront, designed by renowned Chilean architects with international expertise in hotels, Alemparte y Barreda. Patagonia Virgin Hotel will have 148 rooms, a spa and all the services of a 5-star hotel. The draft has been approved by the Municipality of Frutillar and we hope to begin construction this year. Full details regarding the operator and partners will be posted soon.
VillageWe have completed the first pilot shop in Patagonia Village on the shores on Lake Llanquihue, MELI, oriented to gastronomy, kitchen utensils and garden tools. This year, we hope to complete five larger-scale stores, with popular concepts and run by national operators. |
