A great golf course is not complete without a great driving range. Frequently, the practice area takes the back burner when designing a golf course. Here at Patagonia Virgin we take the opposite approach. Such is the importance we attach to this activity that we bought 180,000 m2 of additional land to equip the golf course with a first-class NICKLAUS practice area. In addition, we added a direct access to the golf sector from the quick access public road from Frutillar as well as from Llanquihue and Puerto Varas, thus providing an ideal meeting point for the people in the area.

The driving range, more than 120 yards wide and 350 yards long, with gentle hills on the sides and front, allows players to practice every swing imaginable. It will have multiple objectives that will simulate real game conditions on the NICKLAUS course. It will also have tee boxes and a putting green with a gorgeous view of the woods, Lake Llanquihue and the volcanoes.
